So when I say I love fashion...I do literally and that includes fashion in other countries. In design school we researched fashion trends and styles all over the world. Japan, one of my favorites has fun, funky fashion trends. Harajuku styles and Harajuku girls in particular is what interest me. This style can be a mix of fashion consisting of costumes, kimonos, Goth look, school girl uniform; Barbie inspired looks with designer clothes. Gwen Stefani showcased Harajuku dancers in her videos, photo shoots and concerts. I love they are themselves and isn’t afraid to put an ensemble together expressing their personalities! Luv Luv Luv it!!!!!!!!! If you ever want to make a statement…. search other countries for fashion statement pieces, don’t be afraid you may just start a trend everyone will follow!!!
